From "learnamericanenglish.com" here is a video to revise how we give orders in English:
"water the flowers": RIEGA LAS FLORES. "feed the dog": DA DE COMER AL PERRO. "turn on the oven": ENCIENDE EL HORNO. "always wear your helmet": PONTE SIEMPRE EL CASCO. "hold still for a picture": NO OS MOVÁIS PARA HACER LA FOTO.
Let,s revise some of the instructions we use in the classroom:
So...to give an instruction we use the verb alone: "PLEASE STAND UP", "PLEASE BE QUIET", "TAKE OUT YOUR BOOKS", "OPEN YOUR BOOK GEORGE"... or the verb after DON´T : "DON´T DO THAT" (no hagas esto); "DON´T LAUGH" (no te rías)
