LEARNING ENGLISH WITH SONGS (VII)

Now it is time for us to remember the greatest....
Frank Sinatra

Whose lyrics are:
  Start spreadin' the news,
  I'm leavin' today
I want to be a part of it,
  New York, New York...
  These vagabond shoes
  They are longing to stray
Right through the very heart of it,
  New York, New York...
I wanna wake up in that city
  That doesn't sleep
And find I'm king of the hill,
  Top of the heap...
  My little town blues
  They are melting away
I'm gonna make a brand new start of it,
  In old New York...
If I can make it there,
  I'll make it anywhere
  It's up to you,
  New York, New York...
  In New York, New York...
I want to wake up in that city
  That doesn't sleep
And find I'm king of the hill,
  Top of the list,
  King of the hill,
  A-number-one...
  These little town blues
  Oh they're melting away
  I'm gonna make
A brand new start of it
  In old New York
A-a-a-nd if I can make it there,
  I'm gonna make it anywhere
  It's up to you,
  New York, New York...
  New York...

SUGATA MITRA: THE CHILD-DRIVEN EDUCATION

In this video, education scientist Sugata Mitra tackles one of the
greatest problems of education: the best teachers and schools
don't exist where they're needed most. In a series of real-life
experiments from New Delhi to South Africa to Italy, he gave kids
self-supervised access to the web and saw results that could
revolutionize how we think about teaching.

It's long, of course, a bit difficult, but with the help of subtittles
I'm sure yo will enjoy Sugata Mitras's ideas and experiments.
