ADS TO LEARN ENGLISH

Some ads are very funny (or not). Watch this video by Mercedes:

The conversation is:
G-Hello! I'd like to order French fries, a burger and a milk shake.
L.A- This is a library!
G- (in a low voice) I'd like to order.....

Do you think it is funny? Well, in the end it was banned (prohibido). What do you think about it?
Now, here is another commercial by Coca-Cola

Funny way to pick up a girl!

so I can make you (3-.....)
Please give me one more night, give me one more night
oh one more night cos I can't wait forever
just give me one more night, give me one more night
oh one more night cos I can't live forever
Well...I've been (4-......) here so long

then I thought maybe you're not (7-.......)
So please give me one more night, give me one more night

Give me one more night, just give me one more night
oh one more night, cos I can't wait forever
I know there'll never be a time you'll ever feel the (11-........)
and I know it's only (12-........)
but if you change your mind you know that I'll be (13-........)
and maybe we both can (14-.....)
Oh give me just one more night, just give me one more night
just one more night, cos I can't wait forever
give me just one more night, just give me one more night
I'll give you one more night, cos I can't wait forever.

CHOCOLATE IS NOT ALWAYS SWEET!

Chocolate is something you eat for pleasure, until you discover the appalling things that happen on cocoa plantations. In the production of cocoa beans even children are being exploited. Slavery still exists.

Unbelievable!! and discouraging too!

How often do you....?
Frequency adverbs: always, sometimes, rarely, seldom, never... are used to answer questions like the previous one. Watch this video and revise the rules studied today in class.

Was it useful? I hope so. By the way: "twice a week" means "dos veces por semana".
